To be able to play Windows Media streaming movies and sounds:
- Download the plug-in from this page: Media
Player download from Microsoft You only have to download
the plug-in once, and you will be able to use it for many other
audio & video facilities on the Web.
- Once you have downloaded the software, you will have to install
it. You can do this by saving it to a folder, for example,
the My documents folder. Once it's saved to the folder you must
double-click on the Media Player icon in the folder and follow
any prompts.
Hardware
Requirements
In order to listen to the audio you will need the following hardware:
- An audio card installed inside your computer, or use a computer
with an audio card already installed.
- Speakers to hear the audio. Once your computer is audio enabled
you will be able to listen to any audio files. Many new computers
have this card already installed. If your PC is not audio enabled,
it is relatively inexpensive to do this. Your dealer will be able
to assist you with this.
Optimising
Your Screen Resolution
Modern websites are designed for a screen resolution of 1024 by 768.
If you are new to PCs, you may have the default screen resolution
of 800 by 600.
It is advisable that you change this resolution to 1024 by 768. This
will give you a larger viewing area on your PC screen. Once you have
done this, you will be able to view websites the way they were designed
to be seen.
To change your screen resolution do the following (Windows 95 and
NT):
Minimize all your windows
Right Click on the blank screen. (Anywhere on the background)
Choose Properties from the popup dialog that appears. This will
open a Display Properties window
Click on the Settings Tab
You will see a section called Screen Area. This section sets
your screen resolution.
If the Screen Area section shows 800 by 600 pixels, slide the
slider so that the resolution is set to 1024 by 768.
Select OK. If the PC asks whether you would like to restart or
apply without restarting. Choose not to restart.
If you are using the Internet Explorer browser, you can improve your
viewing experience on Corpcam by switching the browser into Full Screen
mode. To do this press the F11 function key. To return the browser
to it's normal size, press the F11 function key again.

the presentation slides. To print the slides correctly you will need
your printer to be set up for A4 size paper.
If your printer is correctly configured, this will already be the
case. To set your printer to A4 you can go to your printer settings
through Control Panel and change the settings for your default printer.
Different printers may have different setting options.

How
Information is Classified on the Corpcam Site
Corpcam has
presentations for numerous companies. These presentations are either
recordings of events or realtime live broadcasts.
Our team of cameramen travel the country to bring you the latest audio
and visual company announcements.
Live presentations will be indicated by a green asterisk. Live broadcasts
are viewable while the presentation is taking place as well as on
a recorded basis after the presentation.
We categorize our presentations by company, presentation type and
date of the presentation. At any point in time we have a number of
recent presentations on our site.
Our catalogue lists recent and archived presentations. Once a presentation
becomes older, we archive the presentation. Archived presentations
are no longer accessible online but can be supplied by Corpcam on
request.
The search facility allows you to search for a presentation should
you have trouble locating it via our catalogue. The search will return
all presentations that match your search criteria. Some of the presentations
may be archived and need to be requested from us. |
